Giving Tree Education Fund
Education has been one of our deep-rooted values. Several students in the Kodava community are facing extreme challenges due to financial constraints or acute changes in personal situations. Giving Tree is an initiative by Kodava Koota that aims to support deserving students and reduce the school/college dropout rates. Your contributions will go a long way in providing a helping hand to the students and families in desperate need of monetary assistance. Together, we can make sure that none of our children get left behind.

Hockey Namme 2026
The Annual Kodava Hockey Festival has grown into one of the world’s largest field hockey tournaments, earning recognition in the Guinness World Records. Over the years, the festival has evolved into a powerful symbol of sporting excellence, cultural pride, and community participation, uniting multiple generations of the Kodava community through sport.
The forthcoming 2026 - 26th edition hosted by the Chenanda family ( April 5th to May 2nd’2026), is being planned with a strong emphasis on socially impactful initiatives. These include Under-14 hockey training camps aimed at nurturing young talent, an environmental initiative to plant one tree for every goal scored, support for girl child education, and the distribution of beehive boxes to farmers to promote sustainable livelihoods.
We appeal to the NA Kodava community to generously contribute to make this tournament a grand success. Donations can be made by visiting www.kodavas.org. Choosing "Hockey Namme 2026" from the list of initiatives accepting donation.
