
Ingredients
- Crab 1/2 kg cleaned(here i used sea crab)
- Salt
- Chilly powder 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder 1/2tsp
- Kachampuli(garcinia extract)
- Onion 2 small
- Tomato 1 small
- Ginger 2 inch piece
- Garlic 4 to 5 cloves
- Coriander 2 tsp
- Jeera 1 tsp
- Pepper whole 4 to 5
- Red chilly roasted 4
- Coconut grated 1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves handful
Method
Marinate crab with salt ,chilly, turmeric and kachampuli and keep aside. Take all the other ingredients in grinder except tomato and 1 onion, grind well, with little water.
In a kadai, fry chopped onions and tomato. Add crabs with little water and cover and boil for 10 to 15 minutes. Now add ground mixture and boil till the entire masala reaches a thick gravy consistency.
