Kodagu Covid-19 Relief
Dear Members and Donors
The DCHC center has been operational since 15th May 2021 and many patients have been successfully treated. Kodava Koota, the primary source of funding for this center, has transferred a sum of INR 25 Lakhs ($35,185) to Karuna Trust who is the operating partner on ground. The transferred funds are being used forfollowing purposes:
Capital Expenses | Operating Expenses |
1. Oxygen Pipeline 2. Hospital Beds 3. Support Equipments – Trolleys, Bedside Lockers, etc. | 4. Laboratory Expenses 5. Medicines 6. Human Resources – Doctors, Nurses & Support Staff 7. Food for patients 8. Ambulance Operating Expenses |
As the new Covid-19 cases are progressively dropping, the focus is to prepare for future which could be a potential third wave or any other sustainable healthcare projects in Kodagu. We are partnering closely with Karuna Trust on the readiness & the details are being worked out currently
We have collected more than $58,000 so far & will continue to raise funds to support the preparedness for future.
We request all of you to contribute generously to the Kodava Koota Covid-19 Relief Fund for Kodagu and help us battle this pandemic and help the people of Kodagu.
Please feel free to reach out to us at kodavakoota.na@gmail.com for any questions.
Thanks in advance. Best regards and wishing all of you good health during this pandemic
