Poovakka is married to Nanaiah Iychettira, she was recently married and had that 8 months old baby. She was diagnosed with lymphoma and she went through intense chemotherapy. She recovered well until mid of Feb. Suddenly she started having headaches and they diagnosed a growth in her brain. It had also multiplied. Because she went through intense chemotherapy, she can’t take further of it and doctors suggested a bone marrow transplant which is the core for this. That’s when they reached out to public for crowd funding. They will know the final cost of it by today(Monday) end of the day from the hospital.

The good part is Poovakka is very strong, jovial, is in right spirit to recover, she keeps herself busy doing things she likes and so on. The family said that’s their strength as well. The baby is in husbands house in chettalli. Poovakka’s grandmother passed away last week and her mother is busy with those formalities.
