The meda beats the drum for the group dance and everyone joins in, dancing to the beat of the drum. After the dance, they invoke the gods and proceed to the takka’s house singing the batte paat along the way. They leave the drums at takka’s house and return to their homes. If Ed is celebrated more than one night, the narration of the nades and the performances of the dances described above are done on each night.
